On Saturday, December 11 A Los Angeles county judge approved and finalized the divorce between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom.
At this point, all legal paperwork has been completed as of Saturday, but they will not be officially divorced until December 17th when all legal filings have been fully processed.
Khloe had originally filed for divorce from Lamar on May 26th. This was her 2nd divorce filing from Lamar since the couple was married in September of 2009. The two originally married one month after meeting and the ceremony was filmed live on a highly anticipated episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and not long after that the couple created their own TV show called ‘Khloe & Lamar.
As expected, Khloe and Lamar was declined spousal support as each our multimillionaires in their own right.
In the filings “irreconcilable differences” were cited as the reason for the divorce. Reportedly, even though Khloe has known for a long time that their marriage would end in divorce, she was still torn up about it.
In between tears, Khloe described how she truly loved Lamar and she never wanted to be in a marriage that ended with a divorce. While she said she currently feels like she has failed in this aspect of her life, she is looking forward to a brighter future and a chance to move on and correct past wrongs.
Best wishes to both Khloe and Lamar as they find their way in life.
